Where it started

In 2022, energy prices soared to record highs. People looked for ways to stay warm without cranking up the heat. Electric blankets were suddenly no longer a luxury item but a smart solution for everyday comfort.

We – two brothers, active in e-commerce since 2020 – saw demand grow. We started by sourcing from an existing brand in Poland. The photo above shows us during one of our first visits to a supplier. But we quickly realized: we could do better. The products didn't quite meet our own standards for quality, ease of use, and finish.

And that's where the idea for Comfeur was born. No standard solutions, but comfort products that actually work. Reliable, well-designed, and tailored to what people truly need.

Distinctiveness

Extra long underblankets

After a year of learning and listening, we decided in 2023 that it was time to take full control. We launched our own product line. No longer buying from existing brands, but products that aligned with our vision from the very first design: comfort that is right in every detail.

In conversations with customers and through our own research, one thing stood out: there was a high demand for extra-long electric underblankets. Many people—whether tall or shorter—didn't feel fully covered with standard sizes. Moreover, they wanted a solution that actually helped them turn off the heater in their bedroom, without compromising their warmth or sleep.

Armed with these insights, we started looking for a supplier who could help us with our own blankets. However, this was all a bit hasty, and by the end of 2023, we concluded that the quality needed to be improved for the following year.

Learning, improving and expanding the range

In 2024, we wanted to take the next step. Our first models were well received, but we also noticed there was still room for improvement in quality and finish. And at Comfeur, that means: not sitting still, but continuing to develop.

Dion traveled to China to personally visit our factory. There, we openly discussed customer feedback and our own findings. Together with the manufacturer, we adjusted the blankets and ensured that everything was recertified – because quality and safety are always our top priorities.

However, we learned a hard lesson: over time, it turned out that the factory couldn't meet our high standards. A setback, but also a valuable experience. It confirmed that we do not compromise on comfort and reliability – and that finding the right partners is crucial to realizing our vision.

In the meantime we expanded our range with weighted blankets. All OEKO-TEX® certified, so customers can be sure they're choosing safe and reliable materials. This is how Comfeur grew from a brand for warmth to one that also offers deep relaxation.

2025, a big leap forward

2025 became the year in which we made major concessions to build an even better brandWe traveled to China together and visited trade shows and several major manufacturers – the same ones that also produce for some of the biggest players in the market. Ultimately, we chose two partners who understood our vision and could realize it.

With a long list of areas for improvement under our belts, we took a closer look at our signature product: the extra long electric underblanketThanks to customer feedback and our own ambitions, we've managed to create something unique: the only underblankets in Europe that heat over the entire surfaceNo more cold zones, but total warmth and tranquility. It didn't stop there. We further expanded our range.

During our visit, we personally visited all suppliers, performed extensive quality checks, and shared our mission: creating comfort products that truly connect with our customers' lives.

And we are taking a step towards sustainability: one of our new underblankets is now made from fully recycled fabric – a first, but important step towards a greener Comfeur.
